Privacy notice

This notice describes information collected through the Chekavar website. For questions or requests, contact the Chekavar project team at aviumgaruda@gmail.com.

What you provide

Community interest: your name, WhatsApp number, selected clubs and optional email. Store interest: your name, email and selected items. Painting interest: your name, email, phone and indicated amount. Reader contributions: your displayed name, title, description, optional source link and uploaded images or PDFs. The forms also record the time of submission. The site uses basic anti-spam checks and may apply request limits.

Why and where we use it

We use these details to record and respond to your chosen request, prepare optional club invitations, manage merchandise or collector enquiries, and operate the public community archive. Form records are stored in the website database; contribution files are stored in its file storage. The hosting provider processes these records to run the site. Store enquiries may be sent to the project email when email delivery is configured. We do not take payment on this site.

Reader contributions, including the name and files you provide, are public immediately. Other interest form details are private to site operators. If you later accept a WhatsApp group invitation, your phone number may be visible to other members under WhatsApp’s group features. An interest form does not automatically add you to a group.

Ask Chekavar

The local archive search runs in your browser. If you choose a Gemini answer, your question and the archive context are sent to Google through the site’s Gemini integration, when available. If you use a link to Gemini directly, Google handles your use under its own terms and privacy policy. Check AI answers against the linked sources.

Retention and your choices

We keep records while needed for the stated purpose and to handle corrections or disputes, then delete or anonymise them as appropriate. We have not set an automatic deletion schedule for the current archive. Email aviumgaruda@gmail.com to request access, correction, withdrawal from a club interest list or deletion of your information or contribution. We will review requests, subject to applicable obligations and copies already downloaded by others. You can choose not to submit optional information.

We may update this notice as the website and its services change. The date above identifies the current version.
