Each digital edition is planned as a place in the Chekavar community, with access to shared history and a moment to experience the film together.

Verified collectors receive an invitation to join both the Chekavars Club and the Colachel Historians Club: one for community action, the other for research and preservation. Joining is optional and requires your consent to the group rules and WhatsApp visibility.

Each verified edition includes one invitation to a special Dolby Atmos screening of Chekavar. The date, venue, admission process and travel arrangements will be announced before editions go on sale.

The shore
holds its ground.
Beyond the breakers, Dutch ships fill the horizon. Kandan holds his spear, while fishermen pull a boat through the surf with their bare hands. In this imagined moment, courage is shared: the shore is held by a community, not by one warrior alone.
The proposed original gives that moment a single physical form in oil on canvas. Kandan’s red cloth, the weight of the sea and the effort in every figure are the heart of the work. Only one physical canvas is planned from this composition.
The ₹3 crore figure is the proposed opening bid for that one original. The artist, scale, materials and provenance will be documented before any bidding opens. The image shown here is a digital composition study.
